Dan Knowlton I love myrtle! More info       | Oct 17, 2017 22:44 | #414 This past season I used the Sigma 150-600 Sport lens - it is a beast in weight but is amazingly sharp. I ended up using a tripod with a gimbal mount to protect my hands since I have problems with my joints and want to keep playing bass as long as possible. Anyway - a sample

Kcussbuc Member 161 posts Likes: 12 Joined Feb 2007 Location: Chicago More info       | I think the Sigma 150-600 was tailor made for soccer. I was interested to see your shot was at F20 with the ISO way up. I'm wondering about your approach in choosing that. Most sports shooters try to shoot wide open. Because I'm not the greatest at quickly framing a shot, I try to stop down at least one stop from wide open, but I also try to keep my ISO no higher than 1600 (when shooting in the daylight) because I hate the grain that accompanies stuff higher on the 7Dmkii and don't want to take the time in PP to fix it. Just wondering if you can let me know your philosophy on your settings.
