Still working on technique which seems to be due to the small size of the body/lens compared to what I am used to but that why we practice, right? I haven't jumped over completely but I've been playing with this little setup for a couple of weeks now and I'm feeling more comfortable each game. Even though my keeper rate isn't on DLSR level, my confidence in using MFT for indoor sports is improving so I am encouraged. I suspect that in the next generation, the Oly EM1 with PDAF will be able to track well enough to make this a viable setup. These are all with the Oly EM5 MkII and Oly 75mm f/1,8 which uses CDAF.

start slowly with one that is hard to mess up...

Nice set. Best set of action photos I have seen from a mirrorless. What is the noise performance like from ISO 1600-3200?

Thanks that's very kind of you to say. Noise is reasonably under control in that range (although very apparent at 3200). As with DLSRs, proper exposure is so key to controlling it. I did some static tests indoors at MUCH higher ISO 12k and 25k and while I wouldn't routinely opt for those, the images were usable, especially at 12. With some post noise reduction, definitely. For action purposes, I'm not so sure but next game, I'll up the shutter and intentionally shoot a few at 3200 and 6400 just to see how it looks and post back.
