For time lapse what’s the best system for motion control?

Slider with pan and tilt (rack focus also). (4axis controller)

Looking for a complete package with very good software and programming, what’s the best?

Budget under £5k

Thanks.

This feels like the wrong board for this.

I was curious what you were asking about, and found this article.

I know what your saying but it’s still photography :-)

I know how to do it was just looking for better equipment that was all and feedback but I guess it’s not so common.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

@superclarkey - I spent the better part of a month trying to decide which brand to go with and 1.5 years ago I bought the Dynamic Perception Stage One Plus slider with two Stage R modules that essentially give you the pan and tilt movements.

What I liked about the DP equipment is it's modular, so you can use just the slider, or just one or two Stage R units depending on what movement you might want.

Also, the carbon fiber rails are infinitely expandable.

I don't believe they have an in house focus solution, but I did read somewhere about a third party one that worked with the DP gear.

The product is extremely well made and not inexpensive. After a year, I had an issue with the controller where it wouldn't connect reliably to my iPhone. I sent it back, they couldn't reproduce the problem, but sent me a new upgraded controller at no cost. Their customer service is excellent.

Good luck on your search.
