Crap, that's what I also thought. I used AI Servo indeed. They were walking in the shots before this one, forgot to switch to One Shot. It's stupid that it missed focus though, my focus point was on his face.

I never leave AI Servo - equally for dynamic, intermittently dynamic or static subjects. Works great.
