Upgrade from 100D (SL1) to 200D (SL2)

If form factor is a main concern I am wondering why no one is suggesting the EOS M5 or M6. The adapter for EF lenses does not effect the AF or tracking capabilities. Also due to mirrorless there would be no front/back focus issues.

The SL2 rebel has no micro adjust function so this is a deal breaker for me. I see not real negatives going EOS M6 as it also functions like a mini 80D but with an electronic image stabilizer.

No VF/ not the same small selectable AF points / shutter lag makes it not function like an 80D

I'll stick with my Fuji and 80d then ߘ

yup , but look at the prices of a M5 or even a M6 ...

I'm debating the same thing. If I can get a decent amount for my SL1 on Craigslist, I'll upgrade in a heartbeat. I'd love the articulating screen and ability to connect it to my phone to grab snapshots and post them on Facebook or text them to relatives.

Just a follow up. With the recent $350 rebates for camera & printer bundles, I was able to upgrade to the SL2 at a slight profit! The biggest thing I like is the reworked grip area. The articulating screen has come in handy a few times and I love using the Wifi to send my wife photos of my kids when we're out and about and she's stuck at work. Overall, I'm very happy with the SL2, although I wish the $1350 AR 6d MK II bundle would have been available when I jumped on the SL2 one!
