Lapland longspur. Had 23 of these birds along with over fifty Horned larks in the backyard and along my field eating cracked corn I put out for them.

I don't know where they're getting in or why but this is the second wren we have found in our new home in the last couple of weeks along with a robin.

I thought about it afterwards. While it was in LR it looked better but it looked darker after uploading. I liked the moodiness of the dark original at first (it was very overcast and foggy that morning) but then changed my mind!!

Thanks for the suggestion! Here it is lightened up a bit. One of the many reasons I like this forum.....
