I'll report this for you, but Pekka will want to know whether Santa said you were naughty, or nice?

I'm glad a mod chimed in. My first thought was that you had updated FireFox. Every firetrucking time FF updates, something goes wrong with my computer. Then again, I'm using a years-old Win7 machine.

On a Mac using the latest OS with Google Chrome...

Edit - Had a VPN turned on, disappears when I turn off the VPN. Not sure why using a VPN would make a difference but now I know.

This is a fact.

It's not your machine, Tom. I have the same problem when I update FF......which is why I don't do it very often. Hell, FF wants you to update nearly every day.

But you're right, update and I have to fix a bunch of things too.

I am not too versed on this, but I suspect the encrypted data going through a VPN is causing issues with cookie data and the POTN server, so it doesn't see what it expects and shows that warning. Something along those lines anyways...?

No. That VPN (or proxy server set up in browser/OS) serves pages from their own cache server, so referrer is not POTN any more. That is why images are not served: the request is not from POTN. That is how hotlinking protection works, it works as it should.

Btw, Freedome VPN has functioned well with images, I do not know how others act.
