Experiencing the bitter cold that that is covering much of the nation. I have been especially diligent in keeping feeders supplied and water available(Yea, me!:-)}and the backyard is very busy. Have spent some time sitting at a back window with my camera and Sigma.

There was a small flock of White-throated Sparrows-

Good ones, Rog. A local birding buddy of mine has had three White-throated Sparrows hanging around her feeder for close to a month now. Normally, they are not here in winter. And the winter has been brutal; we've seen -37F straight temperature so far and no end in sight. Keep up the good work.

Cool group Rog, there's some White-throateds hanging out this winter in NS too. Wish I had cardinals, they seem to be everywhere in NS except around my place! The birds are preparing for a weather bomb-blizzard=nor'easter coming this Thursday night, and even though I can't do anything about that from Florida, I hope everything is OK up there. The Power company is predicting mass outages with the high winds, heavy snow and then rain all within a 24 hour period.

Nice set Rog, I especially like the female Cardinal, beautiful colors in that setting.
Then I looked more closely at your White Throated Sparrow and realized how confused I am when it comes to their identification. I've been having many of these at my place and mistakenly thought they were white crowned sparrows. I took a pic today of a white throated so now I'm going to try to get all I can of the different ones so maybe I can learn the difference. I know of two other Sparrows in my area besides the pesky house sparrow. I think they may be Fox and Tree sparrows.
At least I have a good excuse to be out with the camera enjoying this balmy weather we seem to be having and BTW, I noticed you stayed up North this winter, are you OK? LOL

NO! I'm freezing ma *ss off!! My wife decided she did not want to go, so I am trying 1 winter here-no promises re future winters.
Going over to L&D 14 today for the eagles which is a plus for staying north. We'll see how that works out.
As for the sparrows, I was calling them Chipping in my mind 'til I checked, so...
Thanks for the look/see and your kind words. Enjoy your "balmy"!
