While letting my Christmas dinner digest, I decided to take a photo of an old wine decanter I have. Wine is a food, right? :-)

I keep coming back to this image, not so much because of the photography, but because it is such a gorgeous piece of glass. It's a perfect example of art and function melded together in a great aesthetics. Something lacking in today's product design.

Hey ... it's a beautiful object but does it actually roast spices any better than a plain cast iron skillet???

Vinegars and olive oil. Been practicing on bottle stuffs and the beer shots are fun. Not sure which one I like better. The reflected olive oil or the one with the reflection coming through the bottles, #2 shot.

This time I didn't have to be intoxicated afterwards. I don't know if that is good or not. ;)

I've had this little Porcelain pot for many years and thought I'd take a photo of it. It only stands 3" tall. I used to use it to melt butter on the stove.
