Love this shot Jeff. I miss my foxes in winter, they tend to disperse away from home, leaving me to just hope one of them returns in spring to make their new family, as has happened for the past 16 years in a row. Fingers crossed now for Year 17.

Ya I've lost a bunch over the years. My sister just bought a house in Charlottetown so I may have to shoot up your neighborhood. I need more and different foxes. The world of photography found and killed off some of my fav's

You picked up on the reflection !! it was the last of the sun that day. I remember it was so cold seeing through the camera and glasses was all but impossible. Even your breath killed your shot either in your viewfinder of on your lens. I have found I can hold my breath for up to 1/2 an hour with critters in front of me lol

There’s a healthy fox population on PEI, you should have some luck over there if you visit for awhile. I went over just for a day last summer and struck out.
