I certainly were..., spottet them in a private garden and paid 3 cans of beer to the farmer an his sons for access to the garden...;o)) (There were 2 youngsters as well)

So very dark in the woods today, could only manage shots at 1/50s. It was very challenging.

The sun came out today, so I visited George Bush Park. I found about 20 White Pelicans on a small lake, which seems to have a plentiful population of fish, brought in by the flood waters from Hurricane Harvey. They were feeding with a flock of Neotropic Cormorants. Closest I have been to these large, regal birds.
