I'm fortunate to have relatives in Idaho so was able to visit Yellowstone for the second time two years ago. We rented a motorhome and drove down to the park the first week of June. There was snow in some areas of the park and the first night was a little cool but only the first night. We went hiking, fishing and had a great time.
The Tetons aren't far so absolutely make time to visit there. Beautiful "Big Sky" country!

Beautiful, I be interested to know what you thought of renting the motorhome. We have often wanted to do so. Did you guys enjoy it or did it turn out to be not your thing? Any other feedback?

I honestly can't think we could have done it any other way. Four adults and three kids, fishing, camping gear and food. We used one of the campgrounds as our base and ran all over the park and area in the motorhome. Wherever we stopped, we had everything we needed. Plenty of picnic areas where we fished and ate lunches I highly recommend it if you can. I hope to do it again soon.

Sometimes I fall back on locations I've shot before. This time with a different camera and lens.

Not anywhere near being in KC or the KC area. However, these are the hometown A-10 boys on their way to an undisclosed location. We refueled them on their way in country. Here's a few photos I took.

Do they still close that rooftop park at dark? I've always wanted to shoot a sunset from up there but don't want to get locked in.
