The first move would be to enable lens correction & CA , then onto auto.. Then if thats not doing it for the image then onto Vertical or one of the other options.

Both of you put up very nice work !!

Thanks for the tip!

Despite not very experienced in PP you have a good eye for composition for landscapes.

Send the raw file to your dropbox so we can download to work on file. Then send link.

Photography is subjective, so if you like it, that's all that matters. However in real life the human eye viewing it in person will not see it as distorted, which the lens caused.

Thanks for the compliment Bianchi!
I don't have a Dropbox account, but I'll send you a link later.

I straightened the verticals in LR. The only other edit I would make is to remove the person from the steps on the right. Nice image.

Thanks for taking the effort to edit the photo. I see what you mean. The perspective is indeed different than my photo (I like the crop of this photo much less than the original, but that's beside the point ;-)a). Thanks again.

The tighter crop is the price you have to pay for the perspective correction. There is no room left within a rectangular format for some of the original image. There would be options in-between ... partially correcting the verticals but not going the whole way and with a less tight crop as a consequence.

I quite like your edits. Very nice! It is much more pleasing to look at now. Very nice image....

Agree, with both points.

Picked up a new 5D mk IV on Tuesday to take over main duties from my well used 5 D III. Seems a useful upgrade and I'm straight away noticing the improvements in high ISO noise. The shot below is ISO 4000 and needed only very slight NR on the BG to present a clean image:

This is such a tranquil, peaceful scene. Terrific capture.

EDIT: It would make a great jigsaw puzzle.
