I know most in the U.S. weren't able to see the full lunar eclipse, but luckily in SoCal it was clear enough. Not often I set my alarm for 5:00am :-D

Tried to keep the ISO down as much as possible since this 50D has really dated noise reduction. This is probably the best one out of the bunch, just wish I could achieve sharper edges without having to resort to post-production.

note: same amount of chromatic boost as previous shot. The actual color was more a brick-red than blood-red.

Nice shot!

Here the clouds were out in force last night and this morning.

Now the sun is shining. Go figure............

Nothing special but here's my very brief outing. It was frost-bite weather in my area. Taken about 6:30 PM on January 30, 2018. 400mm with 1.4 extender. Full version, not cropped.

A bit foggy here at 0445 but full fog by 0530. This was the best I could do under those circumstances
