I am NOT a macro photographer, but I do have a 1999 mis-struck penny I tried to do macro shots of both sides....

Here is a 1999 penny that was mis-struck at the mint

I took the coin to a small town coin dealer who told me it was worth about $3.00. This might have been 10 years ago.

Macro has once again got my attention and coins is something I love also!
I will sneak this one in if its ok.
But I need so much practice..This hole should measure right at 6mm :-)

This penny left the mint without being struck at all. It has a rim so it is referred to as a "planchet." Ony worth a couple of dollars.
