I shot at the woman's march with a cheap Russian rangefinder. Made a video about it too:

Interesting wagon. Is it really that long, or did you add length in process? ;-)a

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

I couldn't find another place to post this, but wanted to brag a little. Please indulge me. It took me about 2 months to collect good, working gear from E-Bay. My 'new' file setup:

Yashica FX-D x2.
YUS 28mm f/2.8
ML 50mm f/2
ML 135mm f/2.8
ML 28-85mm f/3.5-4.5 macro (1:4)
Vivitar (Tokina) 70-210mm f/3.5
Yashica 2X TC
EDIT:
Add the Sigma 21-35mm. Got it cheap! I guess nobody shoots Yashica anymore.

Contax TLA 30
Yashica CS-220
Yashica CS-201

The weather is breaking. I'll get out with this soon.

These are two consecutive shots from the camera (it is a half frame, holding the camera horizontal we take portrait shots)

Just added a Yashica FX-3 Super 2000. Camera and the Sigma 21-35 should be here shortly. I think I am G.A.S'd out, for the moment.

I need some help with an Elan 7, please. The AF is stuck in 'all points' automatic. Something is wrong with the back button for AF. I cannot change to, or select any single point. I have tried changing the AF selection Custom Functions; no luck. One C.Fn. (11?) even takes AF point control off of the back button. That didn't work, either. I need to open the body and bypass/replace/repair the AF button. Any know where I can get a service manual, or at least instructions?

Here's the manual for it: http://www.cameramanuals.org/canon_pdf/canon_elan_7e.pdf (external link)

Not sure where to get a service manual or anything similar to that. Your best bet would likely be youtube for instructions.

I was sitting in a hotel room in Rochester, NY on a layover and talking to a friend on the phone about going to Africa. We began searching for an Airbnb and 3 days later we were in Dakar Senegal!
