Derwent Dam. This is where RAF 617 Squadron practiced low level flying prior to their daring raid on the dams of the Ruhr Valley in Germany.

The tower houses a small museum dedicated to RAF 617 Squadron.


A small stone bridge over the river Derwent. The dam walll can just be made out behind the trees.
