Editorial for fashion designer, Emily Daccarett... Trying to establish an "Alice in Wonderland" feel and vibe... Clutch Crowns accessories (neck and head wear) added for fantasy/visual ambiance... Selective coloring was done in post... Model Ximpy of Next Models Agency did a great job in this editorial photoshoot for this designer... More to come... 1DX + 85L... ISO 400, f/2 @ 1/320sec... Profoto B1 + Westcott 36" Deep Octa (high above and right of camera) was used for fill light...

;)

Is the flare distracting? I couldn't resist flaring that off camera flash

I like it, but I'd be interested to see how it looked without the flare, with the central jacket area toned down and with his face closer to a rule-of-thirds intersection. Maybe ..

Okay, how'd you get the reflective tape on his jacket to look like that? Every time I send light at that stuff it explodes into a hot mess of lens flare and ugliness...

Nice photo :-)

I gotta say the reflextive strips and even the reflectiveness of the yellow/green jacket was more of a challenge to work with then I thought.
