Leaf (11x) (external link) by Can Tunçer (external link), on Flickr

An ordinary leaf photographed with backlight. I put one Jansjö LED light on the front and one on the back. I think the details of the leaves come out in backlight. Looking at the photo from a distance, it looks like a city photo taken from the satellite.

It is a wildflower that blooms in the California Desert, but I don't know the name, nor have I ever seen it again.

I also like macro shots of backlit leaves.
This one is only backlit.

One flash gun under the drip tray and another to fill but need to play with composure and diffusion a bit...

Another flakey post...

Now I did also shoot more shots at different focus planes for stacking but haven't tried that. They usually started melting slightly and thus, change shape so I don't know if I can cleanly align them. Next time, I need more light or to illuminate with a flash. I had the ISO at 3200 with my constant light source.
