My K-20X has been an excellent performer. Even use it (carefully!) with a 5D3 and heavy Tamzooka 150-600 combo. In those instances I find I am more worried about the tripod that the ballhead. I use a Gitzo Traveler and feel it's footprint is too small.
ONLY beef I have is that when it is extremely cold (-20 degrees C or -5 degrees F or colder) the pin used to rotate the ballhead sometimes does not take hold.
I also find it is relatively heavy compared to my ultra-lightweight Gitzo.

A photo I took HERE published in National GeographicTime on your hands? Then HERE'S plenty more photos to nibble on (external link):

I have fallen in love with a German made Kaiser 6011 Ball Head with an Arca Compatible clamp that I purchased used last year. It is a hefty head which weighs a bit under a pound and a half but, it is rated for an 8 kg. load (I like a head that is rated for about twice the package weight I plan to support with it). A used copy should run between $50 and $75. I use it on a modified SLIK travel tripod and I am thinking that I will get another to replace my Giottos MH1300 head that I use on my Giottos MT8180 Carbon Fiber legs.

With the Kaiser notwithstanding, my next purchase will be the Sirui K-10X
to go along with the K-20X I have already purchased. It should fit admirably
on my smaller legs, without my having to look into further research into
another maker which I've never heard of and know nothing about.

Thanks all the same for your input RPCrowe, but I'm not interested in
photographing toy poodles and such.
(Take that with the tongue-in-cheek mood it's meant as)

The K-10X will be my next acquisition, to be sure.

Of course I'm all right! Why? What have you heard?!?

Decided to go with the K-30X for the big legs instead, rather than the K-10
for the smaller legs. The K-20 is just so excellent, and I preferred a bit bigger
head for the big legs.

These heads will certainly migrate to and top whatever leg upgrades I may make
in the foreseeable future, so I'm quite content with these purchases.
There's no denying the quality and value of these Sirui ballheads,
and I wanted to be sure I acquired their good stuff before the market
caught on to what these things should be selling for against the competition.

Well, the glowing reviews and praise for Sirui ballheads is justified, indeed. :-)

I had come back to these forums after something of a hiatus, saw lots
of comments about them, and decided the time was right for me to
finally acquire some long-desired upgrades:

Left: K-20X on 725B, Right: K-30x on 055XPRO
The column of the 725 was replaced to facilitate the previous upgrade
to an Amvona head, allowing any other standard-mount head to also fit.
As mentioned in other threads, the K-30 is a great fit to the 055,
being a near-exact match to the column's shoulder diameter.
The 725's column shoulder is actually 4-5mm larger in diameter
than the 055's, which accounts for the difference seen in fit.

To anyone currently considering the Sirui gear: YES! Do it!
It represents tremendous value in an industry flooded with
frequently-overpriced equipment. Quality is right up there
on a level with the stuff that sells for triple the price,
as is operation and function. It probably won't take much more
time before the prices start going up to reflect how well they
hold up against the competition: that's how good these are.
I'm now seriously considering a purchase of one of their CF
tripod legsets, based on their ballhead quality, before it'll
cost an organ donation to pay for.

I have the K-30X and use it with the Induro CLT204 CF legs. Great head even when using with my 6D MKII and 100-400II (by itself and sometimes with Movo GH400 sidekick knock-off). I used the same head with my previous setups as well with the 60D, 6DMKI and everything from the 11-16mm to 100-400MKI. Holds all the above combinations rock steady.
