That is just unreal, Levina! It almost looks like a cartoon, a good cartoon, or a painting... :)
Is this your 300mm with a 2X converter on it?

Randy

Thanks, Randy. Yeah, that was with the 300/4 and the Canon 2x (mark II) TC.

Nice pic, although it's a bit dark on my screen. BTW, I had no idea of the disparity in sizes of the two birds. Is it that the Pelican is huge (I've never seen one in the flesh), or the Ibis very small?

Hi Trik,Pippan, yes the White Pelican's quite large.
Here's some info.
Measurements
Both Sexes
Length
50–65 in
127–165 cm
Wingspan
96.1–114.2 in
244–290 cm
Weight
158.7–317.5 oz
4500–9000 g

Relative Size
One of our largest flying birds:
considerably larger than a Bald Eagle; smaller than a California Condor.

Ditched the F8 5dmkiv 1.4xiii setup for just the bare 100-400 II + 70d, a tremendous improvement in focus speed/keepers/enjoyment!

This morning I could not blame the neighborhood cats for running all the song birds away from the bird feeders. Here is the guilty party.
