Pershore Old Bridge. The first bridge here was built in about 1413 by local monks (after the abbot drowned falling from stepping stones according to local legend). A later bridge was damaged In 1644, during the English Civil War. The bridge was maintained by re-using stones from nearby Elmley Castle and from the abbey in Pershore, which had been badly damaged during the war of the Barons in Henry VIII's reign.

In 1926 the bridge was replaced by a concrete one, visible through one of the arches, so is now just a footbridge.
