I never got mine fixed. It's sitting on the shelf, collecting dust. I'm gonna keep looking around for someone to play with it. In the interim, I now have a 6d. It has far, far too many buttons and 'fluff,' but it's pretty good... I feel bad saying that. Haha.

Yes, I have... It's a manual focus only camera now, and that's kind of annoying.
I will tell you though, this 6d is pretty wild with high ISOs. I'm babysitting my nephew today, and I took a shot of him earlier at 10,000 ISO......and it looks pretty good.
It feels like cheating using this camera.

The jump to the 6D is pretty wild isn't it? If I only shot outdoor portraits, I would have been happy to have the 5D's forever. Still think the color that comes out of the 5D is better than the 6D. The low light abilities of the 6D are a nice safety net for event and wedding work tho. Ideally, I would have two of both!
