If the retailer does not come through for you (hope he does) consider sending it back to Sigma for an evaluation.
Also if you see or know another shooter with the Sig, ask to exchange with them for a few shoots, to see if your Sig is the issue.

Bianchi - I've been dealing with this retailer for a long time and have a good relationship with them. I received a call today regarding the return. I don't mean to ruffle any feathers in this thread but I thought that I would relate the conversation as honestly as possible. They found the performance of my unit to be poor and were unable to improve upon my supplied sample shots. As per the service manager they typically see a wide variation between copies and returns are not uncommon. They offered me the choice of a refund or a replacement unit. I'm going to weigh my options pending the refund.
