I don't own a drone and have no plans to buy one but I really appreciate the unique perspective that drones give photographers, illustrated by the many fine photos on this thread. I suggest that the time has finally come to give drone photography its own section under "Photography Talk" and I encourage you to press again for this to be added. After all, this thread is growing fast and already gets more posts than several other whole sections on POTN.

There's a pineapple maze in Hawaii that would be great to shoot with a drone.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.
You're a ghost driving a meat-coated skeleton made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear Nothing!

Been flying for a while now, started with a Phantom 3 Advanced in July of 2015, upgraded to a Mavic Pro last August.

Don’t have a lot of shots, mostly use for my real estate work. They both paid for themselves and I am in the “black” using them to make money (Yes, I have my FAA Part 107 certification...)

Anyway, a couple of shots....

Money shot using the portrait orientation on the Mavic (this alone makes it worth the upgrade from the P3 as far as a I am concerned)

Of course there was some PS work, here is the “before”

Was heading to my local diving location yesterday morning and pass a wind farm on the way. Sun was coming up and it created an awesome color spectacle so I pulled off on a side road and got "ol' dronie" skyward.
