So i really wanted to duplicate my bluebird shot from a few pages back, now that spring temps have shown up and the trees started to bud. I have a BIG redbud behind the perch thats all nice and purple, so I tried to arrange a shoot today...

At first he was in a hurry, the Mrs spent most of the morning building their nest so he was watching guard but stopped by for a bit...

So later in the day, the weather went South and we went back to winter, I asked if we could try again, he wasnt totally feeling it so we're going to try again tomorrow.

Very nice images. I like the composition, color and sharpness of the photos.

Very nice shot. Did you have to use flash for that bird in the foliage? I wonder how it got the name "laughing falcon?"

Wow!!!! Awesome. This is one of the best if not the best MFT bird photos I've seen.

Thanks Ed. Hit rate not as high as previously with Canon but I'm certainly enjoying the light weight.

Thanks! No flash was used, but a bit of flash would probably have helped.

I heard the bird before I saw it. It does make a strange laughing-type of sound.
