A tree in a farm field across the valley from my house. This was after a terrible ice storm left everything encased in a heavy coat of ice.

A large tree, still standing from the 1988 fire, in Yellowstone. Taken near the Petrified Tree area, just before the storm hit.

a Ceiba Barrigona, (pregnant tree) endemic from Colombia in Canyon de Chicamocha.

I was with a group as a guide and the one of the guest said afterwards that this walk was useless... I don't think so ! ;-)a
