I owned the 85mm 1.2 l ii and once I noticed mirror box clipping on specular highlights I could no longer not see it. I have not seen the phenomenon with 85 1.4 L and am pleased with that. I think this photo was shot in bright daylight with flash so it affected the bokeh. In general, bokeh of 85IS is actually nicer than 85ii which exhibits nervousness outside of central area in full body portraits. Regardless, I often add additional lens blur in PS so it’s all correctable.
