Wasn't seeing much at the lake this afternoon and noticed this dragonfly kept coming by. I hadn't tried DIF in years and thought I'd see how my custom C3 BIF settings would do at 10FPS. Not bad, around 4 to 6 ft.

It was pretty overcast today and I too was trying to get an Eastern carpenter bee. The low light and fast shutter caused some noise but I am impressed with this lens (especially coming from a 100-400 MK1!
