Monarch in New Zealand. I didn't know they lived there, I thought they were a North American species. They apparently established themselves naturally.

Taken on two different days, these are two different individuals, quite a bit of variation. Took me awhile to find the ID, I think I have it correct.

Amazing, a year ago, I photographed my first Skipper. Now I see them everywhere. These were close, MFD=11' and cropped about 50%.
