Canon has finally confirmed the jumping thumbnail is related to a problem of raw files not writing to cards immediately after taking a shot. This casues a missing thumbnail, and upon review in camera the thumbnail jumps from one to the next. I was told it is in many cameras, most have just not realized it becasue they shoot in JPEG.
A firmware fix may possibly happen this week! Canon was to replace my d60 with a new one this week, since they could not fix it, even thought thye changed "ALL" digital parts, then a call came that if they did give me a new one, it would still have the problem. Mike |
