Default Tele and Wide angle conversion

I think I am right when I multiply the tele converters' power number times the 35mm equivalent to get what the lens is like. In other words at full telephoto the g2 is 105mm. That times the 1.5 for the telephoto converter would be 157mm. The wide angle end would be 35mm X 0.8 equaling 28mm. These are the numbers for the Canon add on lenses, TC 58 and WC 58.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks
