Dear Forum:
I'm using a compact flash card reader w/ USB 2.0 to transfer photos to my Apple. After I transfer the photos, and after I "eject" the card reader using the desktop (dragging the card reader icon into the trash can), must I unplug the card reader before I remove the compact flash card? Or is it okay to remove the compact flash card even though its connected to the computer? Thanks! Ryoichi |

I leave my reader plugged in always and remove or insert the card when needed. Dennis

Drag the "drive" icon of your card reader to the trash or right click and select "Eject Canon_DC" and wait until the light on your card reader stops blinking...then remove the card.
