Question Changing batteries abroad

Im going to France tomorrow and suden;y realised I won't be able to recharge my 5D bateries!

Can I get an adaptor -if so can I use it safely?

Did you notice that the charger that came with your camera also works on 240v? All you will need is an adapter plug to change the pins.

sorry should have said: I'M in the UK which is three pin 240v - isn't France 2 pin 110 volt

They're still 240V, and even if they were 110 your charger would still work. Airport shops, in particular, are loaded with country-country adapters. Chase one down and you're good to go.
