Next time I'm bringing some hip waders. I tried to get out into the stream to get a better angle on the bridge and mountain, but slipped and splashed my foot into 6 inches of water, twisting my knee in the process. That water - mountain run-off - was **cold** and it remained cold for the next 4 hours until I got home.
The real bummer was the "island" in the middle of the stream - a mere 2 steps if I felt like dunking the other foot, too. I decided to try to stay dry. ![]() ![]() Did I mention that the water was cold?
