Default ALERT - configured request variable limit exceeded - dropped variable 'reporttype'

After some server updates to my opensuse 10.2 in the near past, I have many errors like "ALERT - configured request variable limit exceeded - dropped variable 'xxxxxx'" when administering my EE gallery.

After increasing the following variables in my vhost configuration, everything works fine again:
Code:
    php_admin_value suhosin.request.max_vars 500
    php_admin_value suhosin.post.max_vars 500
