Some latest portraits again. Great kids, easy to work with. I was very lucky to have been able to photograph them. C&C always welcome. Thanks for looking. I really appreciate it!

Don't change a thing! Quit your day job and become a professional. Perfect!

Practice, practice, and practice some more, and when you think you have got it right, start over.

Great photos! The only one that bugs me is #3, and only cuz its got so much slant to it. The rest are awesome, favorites are #1, 4, 6 and 8!

Thank you everyone for the great responses! sparcd, ForumForker, paintman34, jtull01, TSEE, I appreciate your wonderfully kind words. :)

sparcd: I almost always use just ambient light outside and position the subject so that highlights and shadows give their faces contour and shape. If its bright and sunny, I look for a nice warm shady spot. But I have been know to use a reflector outside to throw some fill back into the face if necessary. I love bright overcast days the best. Nothing like soft diffused natural lighting. In the studio, its quite different of course. I dont overdo it. I am big fan of DIY photography. I have a speedlite, a reflector, and a hair light, and thats about it. I will post some of my studio shots sometime. :)

TSEE (Sue): I know what you are saying about #3. But she was actually sitting on a hill, so I thought about straightening it, then decided not to at the last minute. :)

jtull01: You are so kind for saying that. How did you know I have a day job other than photography?? :) I would love to do photography full time, but I like my day job too. Its hard to leave a good job with good benefits and 9 years time. :)
