Default UK Peeps, B&H Photo

Hey,

Hope this is the right place in the forum, but have any of you imported anything from B&H Photo in the US? The reason i ask is that i'm looking at getting a new body 4 new lens' and a 1.4 converter, i have worked out the i would be saving just over £1000!!!! before import tax and shipping, but even with the 12% import duty, (not sure if i would have to pay VAT as well) i would still save £700.

Can anyone give me advise or let me know about there experiance in doing this.

Cheers
