Default Time lapse animation software???

I have a web cam outside that saves a small jpeg every minute.
Are there any free software programs that will allow me to load possibly a days worth of the jpeg pictures into it and create some sort of animated file? (e.g. a gif or even something like a avi/divx).
Is there any way to do this in CS3?
