Hi all.... Quick question, I have a Canon 420 EX flash but I can trade it for Sigma 500 DG flash... Should I do it? How do these compare? Thanks!!!

I suspect the sigma has a higher guide number (more powerful). Look on amazon for the feature set and guide number. The super will have a big advantage. (work as master, strobe function,....)

Unless it's a super, keep the 420ex. If you need more power, you should be looking to get the 580ex (the Sigma super's are unreliable as a master with the 420ex).

Stick with the 420. I have one and love it. I have seen the Sigmas and they're just nowhere near as good.
