Great great great game that went into overtime. Brighton ranked 6th in the state by maxpreps.com has a very good basketball team. Press and fast break all game long. The Hillcrest players you could tell were exhausted come late 4th and overtime. While Brighton who I assume uses that every game was solid.

Enjoy the images:

Nice pictures. To me on this posting you've got much better player/background separation, now that you are using strobes the background is better lit, on one of your postings last week I commented how sharp the picture was as you could clearly see the spectators in detail, which is good in one way, but can distract from the main part of the picture, which of course is the players.
I cant see any "Ghosting" can you.

yeah there is some. At home my strobes are not powerful enough as I have to go more direct then bounce because the ceiling is to cluttered and high. But even then I don't want to much direct so there is a balance and sometimes I lose lol

I did/can see some very slight hand movement, which will not distract in any way from a B/Ball picture for most people. (Fans)
If thats whats termed "Noticeable Ghosting" the comment is really at bit harsh.

I didnt say it to be harsh. If you noticed the ghosting then it is, by definition, a noticeable amount. This forum would be a lotter better for comments and critiques if everyone didnt come to it with such a sugarcoated feel.

Nice shots. I really like the first two.

I remember you posting images of your strobe set up for a game in the past, clamping them on the railings at the topof the stands, IIRC. Similar set up here? More direct? There seem to be more shadows in these shots than I remember in the past.

Always good work, though.

troutbreath,

yeah for home games I have to use a more direct light because the ceiling is SOOOOO high and full of crap. So I feather the light more at home, while I bounce more on road games.

I am going to try something different next home game. I am going to put the lights on the floor instead of the 2nd level and see if that helps since they will be closer to the court. There is a good 15 feet bewtween the court and the 2nd level walk way, plus at least 15 feet high.

My lights are just not powerful enough unless I feather the light. That is why I love road games lol The gyms are much much better with nice low flat ceilings.
