Default PhotoRecord vs. PhotoRecord Gold

I am pretty new to my G3 and to amatuer photography, but with the ability of my camera, I am very excited about the possibilities.

Can anyone tell me whether they use the PhotoRecord application regularly? (I.E. the webpage creation tools/photoalbum maker/etc.)...

Have you sprung for the PhotoRecord Gold software? If so has it been worth the $$$?

Also, if you use the webpage design stuff, what is the average size of each of your pages... Optimal resolution/size? Recommended methods?

Thanks!
