wow, from looking at the gear in your ciggie i assume you shot these with the nifty fifty? Incredible work.

Is the guitarist extremely short or is the bassist a giant?


30mm, 50mm, 85mm, and some zooms here and there.

Great pictures... I always wondered how these guys look. A colleague got really upset with me when I suggested that they were as much parody as "straight" (how can a metal band do "The Snowman" without a sense of humour?) I still like the music, though

Great shots.. You are missing a couple of people! Tuomas Holopainen especially since he's such an integral part of Nightwish. He's so animated when he plays. I wasn't able to get anything good of him when I shot them.I was so disappointed with mine. I shot in a small venue with no barricade and a sold out crowd. Hopefully when they return to the States I will cover them in a larger venue.

I couldn't get shot of Tuomas, whenever i tried it was too dark around him...

#2 (!!!), 5 and 6 are nice. #4 is too dark IMO.
