I have been asked to shoot animal (dog) portraits at a fund raiser walk a thon. The event will be in the morning/early afternoon and completely outside. I have 2 alian bees with umbrellas. I also have a 10x20 tent with optional sides. My question is simple...should i set up the tent and shoot the portraits inside with the lights, or take advantage of the ambient light outdoors. I think the timing here is what is key..The softer morning sun would probably be ok, but the noon Florida sun may be a little harsh...Should I set up the bees outside and try to use them as fill? Sorry if these questions seem simple...i just want to make sure i do my best.
Thanks.... |

No replys? Ok, so my plan is to shoot outdoors with maybe a reflector. At least thats the plan right now...

With my limited experience I would shoot inside the tent where the lighting could be controlled easier. Are you using a backdrop?
