I love that eclipse, I almost thought its demo was more impressive than the 22. The cirrus was disappointing.

The Eclipse has been flying longer than the Cirrus which only had its first flight ever like two weeks ago.

Yeah I know. But the cirrus is so far a lot less than I was hoping. I was actually quite surprised to see it fly.

the 22 wasn't allowed to do a full demo due to the airspace restrictions. In a full demo it will do 360* flat spins as well as many other things.

Just curious but what more were you expecting?

Just out of curiosity, is a lens with IS almost a must when shooting this stuff? My 70-200 f/2.8 doesn't have it but it seems ilke it would have helped, especially with shots of prop driven aircraft.

IS is good for props, for jets it does not matter, shutter speed is high enough to shoot without the IS.

#1 engine on a KC-135 belonging to the ANG unit from Milwaukee. I never realized Briggs and Stratton made engines this big:lol::lol::lol:

And one more from me. Very similar to some already posted here, but I just wanted to prove I could do it after last year's miserable failures.

Nice shots Bob! I'd have liked that Briggs & Stratton engine for my snowblower last winter:-).

Nice job on the Raptor shot, great timing! I'm slowly posting all my miserable failures from this year, just to prove I still can't do it...
