Default Airbus Anyone?

I snapped this one a few months ago at Auckland. I never go around to editing it to show you people!

Lan Chile Airbus A340-300, arriving from Sydney.
1/100s, F/16 ISO 100, full frame.

Nice panning shot of only 1/100th. I'm not really tall enough to get it over that fence, and keep it steady!

WOW!!! Very nice shot. I wonder when I will have such a fantastic shot of an airplane.
I'm doing all wrong or I am to old (read: and shakey) for this sort of pictures...

Well you could always cheat and get an IS lens...
Not all my 1/100 come out like this!

That's what I tought to and so I have orderd me a 70-300 DO IS USM lens.
So I'll have the IS and reach, hope to post a nice picture in the near future.
If with my new lens it still wont work I'm coming to New Zeeland and you
can teach a shakey man how it must be done, ok? ...

Yep no worries.
You can also cheat a little by using a tripod and panning while it's on the tripod. That'll stop some of the shaking at least.
