Default Sheryl Crow @ KROCK Centre 09-23-08

Well not my cup of tea but she is still a hot babe. I found the lighting to unusually harsh, I thought I would never hear myself say this but, it was as though there was almost to much white light. Kind of like I was watching a black and white concert if that makes any sense.

Thanks John, mostly the 16-35 2.8L. 5-6-7 are all with 70-200 2.8L Not overly happy with the focus on most of them, I think I am going to have to send the old 20D in for servicing. They just seem to lack that pop. Just seems that the focus is either just about 1/2 inch in front or behind in allot of them. Way back I thought it may have been the lenses I was using so I got the 2 L's. Helped allot but still not right on. So now do I sepnd $2-300 to send it to canon for service or spend $1,000 on new 40D? Although I just thought of something. I am shooting at 1600 F2.8 to maintain fast shutter. Maybe I should start to try a higher F?

1, 4 and 6 for me too. Very nice work keeping the black on black detail usable. I think that 4...love the "mini-rainbow" to the left...might look even better with a different crop aspect.

Excellent job.

She's still hot for 46. Though, #5 shows her age a bit, the rest though, perfection, both the photography and the subject.
I like 2, 4, & 6 the most. In 6, looks liek her fingertips are leaving the spotlight, but oh well.

Sorry Dwight, with my new 70-200 2.8L I had to do the Patented Dwight close up especially for Sheryl. But thanks for making it a must shot to get, you know we learn from the best around here eh? And thank you all for the compliments. It just tells me that I am moving in the right direction. Now to just go out and pre-order a new 50D body!! Oh wait I need $1500.00 first to do that. lol Anyone want to by a picture of Sheryl Crow. lol j/k

The 50D is a good idea Z... Possibly in October/November, there will be a Canon promo discount available... With two cameras, you could capture even more of those elusive moments.

I hear ya John. I am currently working on a deal with the radio station I shoot for and if it comes together I will actually be replacing the 20D with 2 - 50D's. I will retire the 20D to the wife. lol She likes it and it is still a good camera but with nearly 40,000 clicks on it, I think it is time.
