Great shots, I love them, so much character. I would suggest a bit of work on the skin, purely for the hot-spots.

I'm not an expert, but I was trying to use the burn tool yesterday on a few hot spots and it seemed to work pretty well. If you have photoshop..

Select the burn tool, set it to highlights and strenght/opacity (I forget what it says) to 15% and just go over the area with the hot spots until you get your desired look.

Day2: If one were to take all the classes as suggested on the textbooks in one semester, he is a dead man. :)

Day 2 is great, the lighting really fits the mood and the clock is a nice touch.

This 365 project is a good thing. Are you doing just self-portraits or any photo will do for the day?

Thanks, day 2 seems to be my most popular. I'm doing a self-portrait 365. I figure with my time constraits, I don't have much time to go out and look for something to shoot. Self portraits just make a little more sense.

p.s. the clock was actually there. ;)

Maybe I'm alone, but I think that the first picture is spectacular! I REALLY like the way the shirt pops against the black background.

I could have a crack, if you don't mind? I'll let you know what I did.

Just played with shadows and highlights, and used a grease and shine removal action.
