Default The Official -=Personal Hot Links=- thread (or make your own sticky review list)

What is the Hotlinks thread you ask?

Here's how it works.
It's a little like your current "Gear list" link in your sig (if you don't have one yet look here;
http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=138747 )

... but instead of a list of gear, you put a list of your favorite links to THREADS ON THIS FORUM.

They can be review threads, or great posts you've made that explain stuff, etc.
Anything you want.

ben_r_ started the ball rolling asking for a way to consolidate his own gear reviews... this was the spark that created this new idea.
So have at it!

How to LINK to your Specific post.

Notice in the upper right hand corner of this post there is a number one ( #1 )
This is the hyper link to this specific post. Next post in the thread has.. marvel of marvels,. a number 2 and so on. Copy the link embedded in that number IN YOUR OWN POST by right clicking on the number and selecting "copy link location" (or whatever appropriate term depending on your browser) to link directly to your own post in this thread. Do not use the number of THIS post, use the number in YOUR POST.

Here's what it should look like in your sig

My Hot Links List

(or it could say "My reviews" or "my favorite tips and tricks,. whatever you are linking to)

[b][i]Note, replace the link to this post ( #2 ) to yours!!!

7D Vs. 1D MkII
http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...3&postcount=26

5D3 = 13MP @ APS-H (1.3x) and = 8.5MP @ APS-C (1.6x)
7D = 18 megapixels (5184 pixels x 3456 pixels)
Cropped image area of 5DIII to same field of view as 7D = 8.487 megapixels (3568 pixels x 2379 pixels)

To calculate;
Square the "crop factor" 1.6 x 1.6 = 2.56
Divide FF MP (22 for 5D3) by 2.56 = 8.59375 Close enough
1.3 x 1.3 = 1.69
22mp / 1.69 = 13.0ish
