I got the same deal. It was pretty amazing. Just hoping SanDisk makes good on those rebate visa cards.

Incidentally, I find the capacity increases of these cards astounding; I made this little graph based on the Pretec annoucements on DP, capacity versus time (measured in months after august '99).

The size should be increasing exponentially in regular intervals until a certain limit is reached. Look at computer processors, ram, or hard drives. They all follow about the same path.

True, but I never get tired of seeing yet another example; I mean, it's a simple mathematical expression, yet complex industries dealing with profits, equipment supplies, and hundreds more variables, manage to conform almost perfectly!
